The pastor’s constraint

The problem is not a lack of resources.

It is the time required to turn an enormous quantity of information into faithful, congregation-specific understanding before Sunday arrives again.

Pastors already carry the calling, the responsibility, the knowledge of their people, and the preaching voice. The Exposition Desk supplies protected research labor: consulting sources, weighing claims, tracing connections, and identifying what actually matters for preaching the text well.

How the partnership works

Research support that strengthens your preparation without replacing it.

01

Submit the series

Tell us the passage, direction, congregation context, and questions shaping your preparation.

02

Receive the packet

Get a concise, sourced research dossier built around the series you are actually preaching.

03

Watch the explanation

Dr. Stewart highlights the packet’s most consequential interpretive and theological insights.

04

Clarify and preach

Ask one focused email clarification, then develop and preach the sermon in your own voice.

Inside the packet

The research your series needs—without the material it doesn’t.

Every packet is disciplined by the text and the pastor’s actual questions. The goal is not an impressive stack of pages. It is a clear map of the material that most changes how the passage is understood and preached.

Dr. Patrick Stewart holding a Liberty University doctorate sign

Patrick Stewart, PhD

Founder & Biblical Researcher

Why Patrick Stewart

Scholarly judgment applied to the pastor’s actual text.

Patrick Stewart, PhD, holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Bible Exposition from Liberty University. His work brings doctoral research depth, canonical synthesis, source evaluation, and pastoral translation into direct partnership with pastors preparing to preach.

Doctoral researchFrom Divine Absence to Eternal PresenceTemple-city abandonment, ancient Near Eastern backgrounds, canonical theology, and fulfillment in Christ.

Canonical interpretation

Reading individual passages within Scripture’s unified movement toward Christ and new creation.

Old Testament and ANE backgrounds

Clarifying difficult texts through responsible historical and cultural context.

Temple and presence theology

Tracing covenant, exile, restoration, divine presence, and their canonical development.

Pastoral translation

Converting complex scholarship into usable insight without flattening nuance or replacing the preacher.

The service is affordable because its scope is disciplined and its method is repeatable—not because the scholarship is generic or automated.

Research integrity

The sermon still belongs to the pastor.

The Exposition Desk exists to deepen faithful preparation, never to disguise someone else’s sermon as the pastor’s work.

Scripture first

The text controls the research agenda. Novelty does not.

Source integrity

Consequential claims, quotations, and lexical observations remain traceable.

Pastoral voice

Research strengthens the sermon without replacing the pastor’s judgment or voice.

Disciplined scope

Clear boundaries keep the service both rigorous and financially accessible.

Common questions

Clear expectations from the beginning.

Will you write my sermon?

No. The Exposition Desk researches the biblical text and organizes the findings so you can develop and preach the message in your own pastoral voice. Possible outline paths are scaffolding, never a sermon manuscript.

Is this useful if I already own commentaries or Bible software?

Yes. The problem is rarely access to information. It is the protected time required to consult, compare, evaluate, synthesize, and document that information for a specific series. The Desk performs that research labor for you.

How far ahead should I submit a series?

Plan to submit at least ten business days before the first sermon. After the research scope is confirmed, the normal delivery target is five business days.

What happens after I apply?

Dr. Stewart reviews every application personally. Approved pastors receive an email with the private Stripe payment link, partnership terms, and detailed onboarding form.

Do founding partners keep the $99 rate?

Yes. Founding partners retain the $99 monthly rate for as long as the partnership remains continuously active. A canceled partnership that later restarts enters at the current standard rate.

How are sources and AI handled?

Final research is personally reviewed, shaped, and owned by Dr. Stewart. Significant claims and source material are traceable. Pastors do not receive unverified automated output presented as scholarship.
